Music and Art Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Music and Art Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality music and art education to students of all ages.

We are seeking to hire a part time music and art teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
We are a Kindergarten to grade 9 school that teaches all Alberta curriculum. We boast small class sizes with excellent opportunities for mentorship and growth within our school.
This position includes music and art lessons for grades Kindergarten through 6 one day a week.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teaching music and art to children and possess a strong willingness to work with elementary age children. This is an excellent opportunity for a music and art enthusiast to share their love of music with others and make a positive impact on their lives.

  • Plan and deliver engaging music and art lessons following the Alberta curriculum, tailored to individual students’ needs and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents regarding students’ progress.
  • Stay current with new teaching techniques and best practices.

After School Care Development Coordinator

We are currently seeking to hire an after school care program coordinator.
This program includes students in grades one through eight in an after school setting from dismissal until 6pm and full day programming on PD days. The program consists of time for snack, homework completion, as well as arts and crafts and other activities.
The program coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing age appropriate, child-led activities and providing the necessary support, resources, and supervision to ensure the provision of nurturing care and education to young children.
