Halpern Akiva Academy is a Preschool to Grade 9 Jewish Community Day School in Calgary, Alberta. For over 45 years, we have been committed to providing an integrated traditional Jewish and excellent general education program to students from a variety of backgrounds.

Our mission is to welcome all Jewish families and provide excellence in General, Hebrew, and Judaic education while instilling a lifelong love of Judaism. We foster a warm, inclusive community grounded in strong relationships, academic rigor, and a focus on the whole child.

We are seeking a full-time General Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate (interim or permanent)
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred
• Vulnerable Sector Clearance
